As of April 18 only 12 ml of rain- and it is getting very desperate. The green shoot from last month is very thirsty, and starting to turn up its toes. Just a light sprinkle of rain this evening to settle the dust. Yesterday we sent away 202 steers to 'Hillside' Holbrook, NSW, and today 2 more B-doubles headed off to ' Benangaroo',  a TA Fields property at Jugiong, NSW with 183 heifers on board. No possible hope of holding all our stock through the winter.
